“Point out the road I must travel, I’m all ears, all eyes before You, teach me how to live to please You because You are my God.” – Psalm 143:8 and 10.
A few years ago, I would not have wanted to live abroad for longer than a month but God has been changing my heart. I have spent the past year or two praying for the right opportunity to live abroad. When I heard about this great opportunity to travel the world with “The World Race,” this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
My greatest desire is to share the gospel with children. I have a real love of children which has been shown in many years of babysitting and teaching toddlers at my church, at a child care, and at a preschool.
Please pray for the health, safety, and team dynamics for myself, my team, all other world racers. Please also pray for those we come into contact with throughout our world race.
I read this quote in a Robin Jones Gunn book which seems to sum up my thoughts:
“Father, may all your dreams come true. I don’t want to get in the way or hinder You from fulfilling any of the plans You had for me when You dreamed me into being.”
