I suck at blogging, i suck at responding to peoples blogs and getting to know my team! I’m so sorry. I actually had to get sick in order to get a day off from work and instead of resting I’m blogging 🙂 I’m at my parent’s house because I do not have internet at mine.. or cable or anything that costs money except heat!
I’m having a lot of trouble with my jobs and other church obligations and family obligations finding time to do anything toward this trip! I finally posted some of my fundraising ideas, but maybe I’ll try to sell plasma or a kidney too! That seems less time consuming.
My concerns: I’m not praying enough! Although I pray throughout the day, I have been falling asleep during my prayers at night!
I’m not a good enough Christian to be preaching and telling people about GOD! I know I’m not the only one concerned about this.. but it feels overwhelming when others are able to speak so freely and eloquently about their faith. I feel as if the words are not coming to me when people ask me about it.
I’m just now getting excited instead of scared..
My work still wants me to change my mind and is offering some reasons for me to do so!
I’m not getting the right stuff and the right shots, even through all our back and forth as a team, health providers are constantly telling us different things!
I’m going to starve to death on this trip or die from infection or from bugs crawling in orifices, or snake bites.
Getting captured and imprisoned because I’m trying to smuggle out an orphan.. Hmm j/k..maybe
Ok.. on a better note! My friend Emily has graciously offered to rent my HOUSE! The biggest load off I can tell you. God is GOOD! I trust her 100% and she is also going to watch my kitty! She is a huge blessing!!
My family and friends have been AMAZING!
I’m getting all of my prescriptions from samples for the entire 11 months-another huge load off!
I’m meeting with Andrea Gosselin next week! I already feel like we are friends so it should be a fun day!
My church is giving me a large chunk of money for me to go!
GOD IS PROVIDING! HE IS A GIVING LOVING LORD.. WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT?
