God is good. He never stops loving you. I don’t really have any direction for this blog, I am just writing. It’s about freedom.
Just being.
The way God made you.
Just the way you are.
When someone calls you beautiful, believe it.
Say thank you.
You are beautiful, God made you that way.
He is faithful even when you are not.
He is gracious.
He loves like a hurricane.
Relentless love pouring down on you all the time.
Honesty.
With yourself and others.
And I am not particularly talking about lies.
I am talking about character.
What makes up your personality.
I am talking about being a real person.
If you want to laugh, laugh.
If you are frustrated, its okay.
If you need to cry, cry.
I thought you always had to be strong.
Being weak is okay.
It’s when God works in you the most.
Isn’t that beautiful?
All of these things I am mentioning, God is working on in my heart. He’s been doing so much work already. It’s only been a month in a half.
I am telling you.
he is trans-form-ing.
I am going to keep going.
You need him all the time.
Not only when you hit rock bottom.
Not only when you “want” something.
You need him all the time.
Let me give you a little hint.
Ask him to do his will in your life.
Whatever he wants.
You will be amazed by the trust you find in him.
It gives you freedom.
From any and every chain that might be holding you down.
Trust him.
He knows you better than you know yourself.
He is a God of rest.
He is a God of peace.
He is always in control.
Take the time to listen to him.
Do not fear tomorrow.
He has already gone before you.
He has a plan.
I am not going to lie.
Being a christian is not easy.
It takes discipline.
It takes hard work.
But let me tell you.
It is worth every moment,
A thousand times over.
Over any sinful desire.
He fills you with so much joy.
You can’t even describe it.
Because it is so good.
He chases those he loves.
You are his beloved.
If you don’t know God’s love.
You need to.
He is gracious.
He rescued me from a life of sin.
He can rescue you too.
He designed you to need him.
You seek him once and I promise you.
He will show up.
He sent me on this crazy incredible mission trip.
And is providing every step of the way.
This is turning into a bragging session
But that’s how good he is.
That’s how much I want to share my God.
He is amazing.
He is holy.
He is alive.
