Hi!
Finally settling in here and realizing I’M IN INDIA! It took long enough! I don’t think it’ll hit me that this is my life for the next year until I hit maybe month 3!? There’s so much newness! From the sight on of a new mountain, to a new a child handing out wild flowers on the walk up to lunch. From the fabulous smell of chai in the morning to the foulest of smells like public restroom stalls on the side on the road. Just the exposure alone is changing the way I see the world, and how crucial it is to appreciate the littlest things in life. At the end of the day, gratitude, love, celebration, community and growth, all things founded by God, are what make this life worth living. The most exciting newness though are the new things God’s doing. Speaking to me in ways I haven’t heard before. Leading me into new experiences I’d never go into on my own will. I’m completely handing my life over to God for the next 11 months. Abandonment is already in the works. I’ve lost both the phones I came with, all that’s left is my iPad. At the beginning of this journey I prayed for God to completely remove any distractions that hindered me from hearing His voice. It looks he took it literally… haha, but it’s true and He knows my habits. God is teaching me daily how to depend on Him alone. That every day is given to us and already has a plan laid out by Him. In the past where I may have swayed my plans according to what other people were doing, I’m putting all dependency on what He wants for my life because it is ultimately abundantly more. I look forward to sharing more about what God’s doing in me, in these places and through our ministry host’s we’re working through. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support, I feel every bit of it. Click on my photos tab, I added new pics from India.
