Hello everyone!It has been a while since my last post, and for that I am sorry. Despite the long absence I have some GREAT NEWS and FUN UPDATES.
First of all, I have some GREAT NEWS. In the words of Bon Jovi,” Woah, we’re halfway there! Woah, livin’ on a prayer! So take my hand, we’ll make it I swear. Woah, livin’ on a prayer!” I am now over halfway there(financially) and as always living on a prayer! Also, I have reached my December deadline of $10,000!!!! That is INSANE! Praise God! I thank God for using you all and calling you all who have helped fund me thus far, without you I would truly have nothing.
On the topic of fundraising I would like to tell you how I have seen God moving in these families of my supporters. After I receive donations I love to call or write a letter of thanks to them(if you have not yet, have no fear I will be reaching out to you soon!). As some of you may know I am a Jr. High counselor at Trinity. And so, some of these lives and families I have been a part of have been eager to help fund me. They told me about how the kids took part in the amount they wanted to support and not only that, but these kids were willing to put their own money into my support. Through this I see the love and grace of God moving through the hearts of these families. They are so filled with joy for the work that will be done in the Lord’s name. It is truly amazing what God is doing right now, and to be honest it is hard to comprehend! Our God is a good God!
Secondly, I have some FUNUPDATES. I leave for Georgia, the state, in less than a week for training camp! I leave the 13th of October, but training camp doesn’t start until the 19th, so, I will be hanging out with my friend and his family for a few days before then. Also, Two days ago I went to REI and bought some other fun equipment, tent, footprint, shoes, etc. REI is always fun 😛.

Specific prayer requests would be: I have been working a lot recently so I would love some rest, I still have just over $7,000 that I need to fundraise, and just for my heart to be prepared for training camp.
