Hi again!!
Remember me?
I know it’s been awhile…a little over three months to be exact, but hopefully that will change starting today.
So I have recently been convicted?(maybe that is too harsh of a word) on not writing blogs. The Lord has been giving me a desire to share this journey with others and what better way to do that than to blog!
By not blogging, I have been missing out on opportunities to share Christ to others, but also to just share with my parents and family and friends what is going on and how God is working in my life. (Which has been sooooo much and I’m so excited to share!!) But more importantly, I want to tell these peoples stories. The incredible people that I have had the honor to know.
There are people all over the world that I would never have had the privilege to meet had I not gone on this journey to Latin America for Jesus. It’s so easy to put statistics on things and look at the world as a big number. But when you actually GO into a different country, into a different world, into a different city so foreign and unusual and you actually see these faces…then things change. They become real. And I want to make it real for you, the reader, as well. I wanna save the world, but God is teaching me that He will take care of the world. He will send people to help people. Our job is to be obedient and say yes to helping that one person. Because we don’t necessarily have to save the world, just one person. Start with baby steps and God will take care of the rest.
So with all that said…I am now going to try to catch you up on all that I have left you, the reader, in the dark about my time on the world race. Allow me to shed some light. Since I’m not a picture taker or a video maker, I want to remember this journey some way. Thus I shall write about it, because I can do that. So bear with me readers, a.k.a. mom and dad, I am going to start from the beginning and work up til now. I won’t post them all at once, but a little at a time. And I apologize in advance that I probably won’t be uploading pictures. I’ll do my best though.
Until the next adventure,
Teej
