We’re in the middle of World Race Training Camp here in Georgia!  I am enjoying seeing the fall weather since I don’t really get to experience the changing of the leaves in Florida!  Hi to all of my friends, family & supporters!  I miss you but I’m having a fantastic time.  I actually had my first real camping experience last night (by “real” I mean no tent – just my sleeping bag, sleeping pad & a tarp over my head) and I had a GREAT time!  More about that (with pictures) in a future blog!

Anyway, we have an assignment to give a tip to future World Racers about what to expect at Training Camp so here is my advice:

(1) This one is practical – Bring clothes for all weather – It has been hot during the day but super cold at night.  Be prepared because you really never know!

(2) This one is spiritual – Come with an open mind – Be prepared to go deeper with your walk with the Lord.  (More on my experiences in a future blog with this as well!)

Well, that’s all for now but there will be more to come soon, so stay tuned!  My squad (V Squad) is awesome and I can’t wait to find out my team soon 🙂
