Hey everyone! My name is Tiffany and I am set to go on the World Race in September 2014 Route 2! I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. After graduating high school in 2009 I went to college at Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD. I was originally a Graphic Arts major and Business Minor but after my first year I switched to a Social Work major and Psychology minor. I graduated in May of 2013 and since have gotten a job in an outpatient mental health agency as a residential counselor. Basically I am a house mom to a household of 6 elderly individuals. Its more of a CNA position but I have definitely learned a lot since being here. I also work a second part time job as an RA/leasing consultant/receptionist at the apartment complex I live in. It keeps me busy but it works. That basically summarizes the basics about me, so I will sum up the rest in a list 🙂

I am random. Pardon my weirdness…

I have never been on a missions trip before and my first is going to 11 (well, technically 12) countries???

Jesus is awesome and I love Him :))

I tend to talk in inside jokes and may forget that not everybody understands my references…sorry in advance.

I have a semi-large family. 4 sisters (Dawn, Lisa, Holly, Cierra) and 2 brothers (Eric and Caleb).

I love music! I dabble with the guitar and piano but when I say dabble…I mean dabble lol.

I have a dog named Chad. He is old, spoiled, and adorable.

I tend to be good at impressions of people.

I’m naturally observant so its easy to pick the little things up. I swear I am not making fun of anyone haha it just makes telling stories that much more interesting.

I am a huge mystery fan so naturally Pretty Little Liars is my favorite show.

The most played song on my iTunes is He’s Faithful (Prophetic Version) by Corey Asbury.

My favorite quote at the moment is “Tolerance is weak, an epidemic on repeat. I want to change the course of history.”

One of my favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 1:4-10 “The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, “I am too young.” You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.””

I always say that I relate a lot to Moses. Not in the sense that he was adopted, but in his speech. When God had called him to release the slaves out of Egypt he doubted his ability to do so claiming that his speech impediment disqualified him for such a task. Although I do not have a speech impediment in that sense, I struggle with words. There are many times when I cannot fully express how I feel or what I am thinking and its very frustrating, especially if I am passionate on the subject. All I know is if God came through for Moses, then He will come through for me.

Well that is enough for now I guess. 🙂
