Things are finally
falling into place.

Words that were
spoken over me in 2011 are coming to the forefront in 2012.

Visions and whispers
from the Lord are beginning to take His shape in my life.

…Small groanings in
my Spirit are churning and bubbling into a battle cry.

…

Have you ever had
those nights where you are driving and for as far as you can see, every single
traffic light is GREEN?

Living in LA, this is
a rarity- – as in, an impossibility.

But tonight as I
drove home from one of the most spiritually filling nights since the race, one
of the busiest streets in America was all green lights for me.

…Five and a half
miles of green lights and no cars.

…

Earlier in the day, I
had committed to meet a friend for catch-up at six o’clock twenty miles away
from me. Those twenty-miles included three of the busiest highways in the city
during rush hour traffic.

Bumper to bumper
traffic the entire way.

But I knew I had to
get there.

Something in my
spirit was telling me that breakthrough was on the other end.

…

And it absolutely
was.

Within forty minutes
of walking around Pasadena, I received a phone call that in the next few days
and week could substantialize into something the Lord has been breathing in
me for over a year and a half.

The rest of the evening
was restoring me in community, in
worship, in prayer, in claiming victory and standing in it, in praising the
Living God for defeating the enemy.

…

But I just keep
thinking about this whole night in terms of what it’s like to trust in the Lord– even when the enemy
attacks us at every turn.

This afternoon, I had
a choice to meet a friend despite an hour of the actualization of hell on earth
manifested in traffic form, moving on a hunch that something was going to
happen. Or, I could have stayed home, spent some time with the Lord in my usual, satisfying ways, spent time with my sister, and avoided traffic altogether. This wasn’t a
bad alternative.

But I moved in the
Lord’s peace, despite what my natural self would call complete foolishness. I
went against the obvious attacks of the enemy, and I went joyfully.

As soon as I moved in
faith, the Lord blessed me. Over and
over again.

As soon as I had
conquered the battles I had been fighting, the road home was nothing but receiving and living in that victory.

SUCH AN AWESOME FEELING.

Keep sitting on the edge of your seat: the unveiling of my next steps may be just around the corner!
