GOD IS FAITHFUL

You ever sometimes find yourself doubting God’s plan…Well let’s be honest I did. I’m going to be vulnerable and go through what the Lord has taught me in the past 5 days.

The lord has a plan and will for each and every one of our lives. He tells us straight from scripture:

“But first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

Guess what this is good news. He wants our attention first before anything else in our lives. Seek a relationship with the Lord first and not have a worry as to what follows after that because he will provide for all your other needs. Being content with just the Lord is a beautiful thing. Our Father is a good father, dependable, FAITHFUL, lover of our souls, forgiving, gracious, comforter, King of Kings, creator of the universe… the list goes on, He is literally everything! How could one possibly doubt his sovereign plan?  Well, actually easy by listening to the lies of the enemy. I fell into this temptation of doubt last week I thought there’s no way The Lord can provide $4,000 in a week to meet the 10K deadline…I figured I would go ahead and start selling things like my car to make this money in order to leave with my team. The Lord lovingly nudged me in the side by expressing How He is the only one who can provide this, not by what I can do but by His hands only! He had called me to this mission’s trip many months ago and His plan will prevail because he is faithful and can do all things…even when I am faithless.

Conviction laid on my heart instantly, Lord how could I ever doubt you…you know all things, past and future! I can’t even tell you what I will eat for lunch how could I possibly think that He wouldn’t provide the things necessary for His Kingdom to be established here on Earth through partnering with him on this mission’s trip that he has brought the team and me too. I’m utterly shocked by the patience that he has been pushing me through during this process of fundraising. Listening to the Lord is a challenge and something he has been showing me more and more.

The other evening at a leadership conference that my church had, I heard the lord say a couple of words:

Be patient, Get ready, vulnerably, and stop doing it on your own.

I was in awe of His goodness. How he directly knows what I need to be encouraged and how he prepares my heart for when he is speaking. After this I wasn’t sure what to do except break down and praise Jesus how wonderfully mighty His is. It was a gentle bop on the head telling me that his sovereign plan never fails even when I can fall for the lies of doubting. I completely stopped what I was doing and turned fundraising events into something else…a place to share the Gospel.

God placing on my heart that I was approaching fundraising all wrong, instead of going into a fundraiser by how much money can be raised…go into the fundraiser with an intentional heart to reach the lost souls. Man was my world rocked, Lord thank you for your conviction and your help to look at things from Your loving lenses and not my own! The next fundraiser was full of so much joy and sharing God’s love to those who stopped by and inviting them to be a part of a community who wants to get to know them like the church body. I left that fundraiser feeling so blessed to be a part of what plans God had for those people’s lives, he had divine appointments for them to get a glimpse of who he is.

God’s plan will succeed and nothing can stop it. Remember how $4,000 had to be raised in a week. The Lord provided $3,500 in 2 days. Not a single penny of that was by the work of human hands. Let God be the Glory forever and ever, Amen! He placed many generous hearts to serve him in such a way as funding a mission’s trip, who didn’t even know me…but they know The Lord and His plan to reach the lost and knew it was not their money but God’s money! I’m truly blown away at how amazing God is and completely FAITHFUL he will always be!

I’m excited to have you partnering with God’s mission on this journey by following along in support. Your help through prayer and finances has been a blessing on my heart. May the Lord be with you!

Please reach out to me through my email or blog if you want to stay connected and want to send me prayer requests while I am away, I would love to be praying for you. Also, my next financial deadline is $3,000 at the end of October and then the last deadline is $3,000 by December. Please continue to pray for financial needs as I won’t be around in person.

Go be you & share the Gospel. The Good news will reach all nations, let’s partner with what God is already doing.

“so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Philippians 2: 10-11
