Fail on my part I realize for not having blogged for… quite some time. And a lot has happened of course. We spent ten days traveling from Latin America to Asia–so. About that. I have about three blogs in the work, and I promise when they are no longer half-baked and are actually coherent, then they will make a grand appearance. In the meantime, I ask for grace for the lack of updates and prayers because our team is in quite the spiritual war zone this month. In about an hour, we are leaving for another night in the Phuket red light district. For protection of the ministry organization, at this time I cannot say much more, but pray that God would protect all of us–physically, spiritually, emotionally. Pray for the women locked in the vicious cycle of prostiution, and pray for those who are buying these women and lady boys. Pray that loneliness would be broken, that cycles of suicide would be broken, that joy would RAIN DOWN over these hundreds of bars.
And know that even in the darkness and horror of it all, our Lord is already victorious. The enemy has already been defeated. We are conquerors and warriors–bringing His glory and joy with us with every step.
On a different note, our final support deadline is July 1st. Our squad is down to only needing a little under $85,000 which is the tiniest amount considering that we each were asked to raise 14,300! Personally I need around $1,300.
This is a busy, busy month and I would love to continue to be fully present in ministry and not having to spend too much time support raising on the side. So please prayerfully consider helping me stay out here for the next six months. So much love and appreciation to all of you who have supported me thus far.
Love and Blessings and Joy (and a LOT of sweat) from Thailand.
