This month, we have been placed with an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya.
Coming into the month, we were told that the orphans (almost 100 of them) were not going to be there.
We found out that the orphanage is actually not completed for the children to stay there. They have been holding classes in the building, but Pastor Abel still needs close to $10,000 to finish the process. The children have been staying at guardian's homes around the community, but they really need to all be moved to the orphanage.
It became clear to us what the best way to serve our contact would be: help him raise the funds!
You have all been incredibly gracious to pray and give financially for me to be on this trip, but here is an opportunity to know exactly what your donations go to!
We have made a goal to raise the entire $10,000 before the end of the month. What an amazing gift to be able to present to our contact and to the children! They would finally have a stable place to live and eat.
Tomorrow, our team is going out of town with Pastor Abel for a conference to help in the Massi Tribe for the week. While we are gone, we will have no way to keep updated on the progress of our fundraising, but we are trusting that God will provide just like He always does.
