Those of you who have Facebook and Instagram may have seen my posts about the HiP project.  A few of my teammates and I have been helping out with a non profit creative arts center called LUMA. We have been located in the middle of Georgetown Penang in Malaysia where we often see street art, great food, rich culture, and lots of history.
The HiP project stands for Heritage in Penang or Happening in Penang.  It's a way to get the youth more involved in the heritage that is found here in Georgetown.  In just a few weeks, LUMA and their partners ArtsED, will be lauching Phase 1!
It is exciting to see something that you have helped create come to life.  We have been busy this past week helping get the word out to the community about who we are and what we are doing.  We have interviewed some people and taken lots of photos!  It has been a lot of fun even learning so much about the culture and heritage here and being able to expand our minds creatively.

Our day out learning about Heritage in Penang.

I've been thinking a lot about worship this month and how that looks for each person.  I've realized that everyone worships differently.  The way I find the most joy in honoring God is completely different the way my grandmother may have done it.  Expand your mind and be creative!
God has given each of us different gifts and one of the ways we can worship Him is by using those gifts.  So whether you sing, or play an instrument, or draw, or dance, or paint, or play with children, or cook or whatever it may be, use that in your worship!  Who says there has to be a certain way or even a certain time for worship?  Worship is something that can happen every hour of every day.
So do what you love and honor your Father who created you just the way you are.

We will be heading to Cambodia from here.  If you haven't seen elsewhere, we are no longer going to Austrailia, but instead we are going to India!  I'm really excited about this change and look forward to diving into Indian culture.

Please continue to pray for our ministries and our teams.  Our last financial deadline is coming up and there are still people who are not yet fully funded.  Please pray for God's provision there.  Pray for safety while we travel.  Pray for attitudes staying positive as we continue serving together.  Pray for the people we meet and the conversations we have.

Thank you!
