So after thinking about what I expect out of this trip this is my top ten list..
1) A greater understanding of myself and God’s plan for my life.
2) I expect to be wrecked and learn to see things through God’s lenses and not my own.
3) New friends and new relationships that will encourage accountability and growth.
4) To break free of the American Dream.
5) To take the Gospel everywhere not just by words but by actions.
6) To love on some people like Jesus.
7) Adventure
8) An appreciation for EVERYTHING.
9) A lot of laughter, kind of who I am.
10) A chance to IMPACT and an AWAKENING.
It has been really cool to see things begin to fall into place for this trip, as I start my major support raising prayers and campaign.. I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity and the anticipation is building, I am SO pumped it’s kind of hard to put into words! But I’ve had this song “Awakening” from Passion stuck in my head and it has become some what of a prayer for me during this time of getting everything read, support raising and beginning a new chapter of life. I’ll post the link to Hillsong United’s version on Awakening, if you haven’t heard it. Awesome record too!
Anyways, I’m looking forward to keeping the blog going and hope everyone out there is keeping it real!
