It’s finally here.. launch.
Though I’m here now in DC reunited with my whole squad it still hasn’t fully hit me yet. I don’t think it will till we actually get to our first country but as I reflect back I am overwhelmed with emotion. The mourning of an end of a season and a rejoicing of the start of a new one. I am nothing but thankful for it all. God is just so good and I know I am covered by grace and filled with so much love as I embark on this new journey. I don’t know what to expect but my trust is in the Lord as He has brought me this far already and I know and believe He will continue to work till that day. I pray and hope you will join me as I go out and seek to witness and bring His kingdom to those who have not much and yet to hear the good news. I will blog any chance I get when we have access to internet in the field to keep you updated. We will be leaving this Friday for our first country after two days of training here. I wish I had more to write but this is all I could muster with so many thoughts swirling through my head and not having processed it all. I will do another post soon with more detail once I do. =]
Oh and a quick update on funding, I still have yet to be fully funded for my race but I am more than blessed to report that I am at $10,000 as of now! Thank you all for your love and support thus far! More to come! (for more details on my next deadline refer to last post)
