God our Father chose us, through Christ Jesus, before the foundations of the world to be holy and blameless before him. In love, he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ. This means he gave us a new last name, new birth right, new life! We have been made a new creation. Nothing of the old still has any power or condemnation. We are no longer trapped by the law and blinded by sin, for no one can uphold the law, not even one. At just the right time the hero, Christ, the attonement, the payment for our sins, came into the picture. Though we were his enemies he layed down his life completely in place of ours.
Do you know what this means!?!? We are a new creation, no longer under the law but under grace, through which there is no condemnation! Praise be to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! I am no longer blinded or trapped by sin but seek GOD and his praise and his glory.
I have been on the world race now for 4 months and have not looked at any pornography or defiled my body, the temple of the true, living God. It hasn't been easy by any means. Just the other day I had the opportunity to watch and even download porn, and nobody would have known. By the power of Christ I brought it to the light and that avenue was shut down. My teammates and I followed the trail for the integrity of the whole squad, that we may rejoice in the victory we fight from and not for. We ARE sons and daughters of the Most High, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We are royalty. We don't have to work for uncompromised honor. God has already given it to us and sees it in us whether or not we do. We don't have to work for redemption or salvation, which by the way is impossible, and that makes it all the more beautiful and desirable. God freely gave unnatural mercy and unnatural grace.
We are a new creation, without any blemish in the eyes of The Maker.
We dont pray for God to make us _______, but we pray God thank you for having made me ________!
As brothers and sisters in Christ let us encourage and lift up each other so that the God of Isaac, Abraham, and Jacob would be known; that people would know who we are in Christ!
