As I reflect on the last 6 months and what God has done in my life, I am speechless. I have learned more in the past 6 months about who God says I am and who he has called me to be than ever before. We are so blessed God has chosen us to follow him around the world and draw closer to his heart and be his hands and heart to a hurting world. I am blown away that God’s persuit of me is never ending. He will never be done with me. He desires to continually bring me closer to him, closer to his heart! I LOVE THE LORD!!!! HE IS SOOOO GOOD! I am in tears because he never stops, he never stops teaching me, he never stops loving me, he never stops persuing me. I see where I was 6 months ago and see where God has taken me and all I can say is Lord, I thank you, I thank you for loving me so much that you pulled me out of my funk, out of my complacency and called me deeper! I would love to share with you what God has done in me and taught me in each country, these are lessons and moments I will never forget,
Ukraine:
- Became tired of being stagnant and longed for more.
- I learned how to find comfort in the Lord when my comforts were gone and change was all around.
- Change is a opportunity to grow, how I handel change says a lot about who I am.
- Relized the Lord was giving me new wineskins.
- I have a passion for children of all ages, not just small children.
- Came to the realization that God has never left me,, but has been persuing my heart all along.
- Began to hear the heart of my father again.
- Began the process of going deeper with the Lord.
- Noticed there is no where else I would rather be than in God’s presence.
Romania:
- Was reminded of my love for children, no matter where they come from, smell like or what they look like. I charish them and the opportunity to show the love of Christ.
- Discovered I love working with women who have been abondoned, neglected, and who have missed out on life skills. My heart delights in show them the love of the father.
- God’s love transends all language barriers.
- Noticed that when I sing it quiets souls.
- I learned that fear will only take you as far as you allow it.
Ireland:
- Became aware that sometimes God has to take things away in order for us to truely rely on him and who he says we are and in order for him to give us new spiritual gifs.
- Entered into a season of brokenness and while it was painful it ended up being one of my deepest times with the Lord.
- I was reminded what true community looks like and long for us to be a part of something like this again.
- The Lord began developing a servents heart in me . Serving often does not look like what I expect.
- I was given the gift of intercessory.
Kenya:
- My words are powerful and effective.
- God speaks through me to speak to his congregation.
- I began walking in and believing who God says I am.
- I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
- There is power in my smile.
- God has given me the blessing to see peoples hearts and what God is doing in them.
Uganda:
- The verse Mark 8:34-35 became real to me.
- I began to understand what it means for God to break our hearts for what breaks his.
Tanzania:
- Was faced with the choice to choose freedom or fear. I choose to walk in freedom, it has been so liberating!!
- I have full confidence in the Lord, I can do ANYTHING through him.
- Began having a peace that God’s will is best, even if we do not fully understand. I trust him, I trust in his plan for us.
- Began diving deeper into intamacy with the father.
- The Lord shut certain doors for ministry that we were keeping open and turned our focus towards another direction.
- The Lord spoke to my heart that he was going to use me to sing songs of delieverance over men and women in the red light district in Thailand.
I am so blessed that the Lord choose me! I have learned so much and I know this is only the beginning. Tom and I are still needing $4,400 in our account by December 15th which is 6 days away.
