Presenting:

 TEAM UNITED

These are the beautiful souls that I have the honor of traveling the world along side. The people who we will experience the good, bad, ugly, painful, glorious, incredible, awe inspiring, beautiful, iron sharpening iron  moments with.

                                                                         Curt Devine

Curt is our team leader & I could not think of anyone else more fit for this role. He is a fountain of knowledge and I am in aw of the way he can not just quote but live scripture. His passion for prayer is contagious.

                                                         Jeannie Moore

If I were to describe Jeannie in one word it would be ‘fun.’ She is a joy to be around and just makes me laugh. She has a lot of amazing qualities to offer this world and I am so blessed to be on a team with her. Jeannie is from Mississippi and I think her love of zebras might wear off on me this year….

                                                                             Clint Clark

Clint is awesome. He has a real heart for orphans and I am excited to see how God will use that on this journey and when we get home from the Race. He has a lot of knowledge as well and I am so excited to be on his team.

                                                               Shannon Mayall

Besides having a cool accent (born in South Africa, lives in Canada), in the words of Donald from 5 points, Atlanta, “she is a prayer warrior.” I admire her boldness in sharing the Gospel and think I am going to learn a lot from her this year.

                                                                      Lacey Malcomson

At the end of training camp one of the prayers said over our group was we would have to fight for each other. Lacey and I got to put that into effect a little sooner than we thought when flights got delayed & we had to fight to find each other in the airport because I ended up spending the night at her house in Michigan on my way home. Lacey is a really sweet spirit and I am incredibly excited to get to travel the world with her.

It blows my mind that 6 of us took radically different journeys to get here. Our lives have taken us all over the world; that all the big and small decisions that we made have gotten us to this point where we are now going to live together in community and travel the world not just bringing God’s kingdom, but being God’s kingdom.

How did we get the name ‘United’ ?

Funny Story.

We were originally ‘team revive’ then the night we were going to present our team names some of out team didn’t feel at peace with the name and a name is a very important characteristic. So, about a half our before we needed to present our entire team gathered, prayed and God wrote ‘United’ on our hearts. So here we are. United with each other, United with God, and going to Unite people around the world with their Father in Heaven.

12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
– Colossians 3:12-17

How good and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in unity!   Psalm 133:1

I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:23

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, Romans 15:5

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.   Ephesians 4:3

I am increadibly excited, blessed and thankful for the opportunity to live and learn and love with the 3 sisters and 2 brothers that God has given me for this journey.
Let’s do this thing!
