Obvious reasons canceled the February 2010 Haiti
Presidential elections, which will now take place in November. This past
Thursday the ministry of transportation declared a strike, protesting the
nominees of the Presidential election.
That morning our team spent some time in prayer for the country. During
that time I clearly felt the Lord telling me that He wanted to gain ground in
His Kingdom and that He wanted me and 1 other person to go to the Presidential
Palace square and prayer for and with people. This kind of scared me if I am honest. The Palace square is
not an overly safe place anyway much less on a day when there is potential for
unrest. On top of that we typically don’t allow people to go out with only 1
other person. So I dismissed that this is what the Lord was telling me to do.
