A baby…

A crying baby boy is found at the steps of an all girls orphanage. They must take him in, he will surely die if he stays outside. The girls, however, do not know how to care for a baby.  A nurse comes to teach them. She takes them outside to teach them, where they find a little breeze to comfort them.

In an instant the earth is shaking. The building is falling, only 4 were left inside. Only one perished in the building. To the left is the hole that the 3 children escaped from. The others would have been in this building if this baby boy had not been dropped off at the steps of the orphanage.

Amazing how one common baby boy can save so many…or is it?

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” –Luke 2:6-7

Jesus was born into the lowliest of places, a barn with animals around. Through his birth, perfect life, death and resurrection we are all saved from eternal death. We each are saved by a tiny baby.  A baby that was left with no where to go but a manger.  A baby that would not leave us orphaned. A baby that would save the World.

Imagine, if the orphaned boy had not been dropped off at the orphanage, and the girls had been inside the building when the ground started shaking, many of them would have perished.

If baby Jesus had not been born we would not be saved from eternal death.
Amazing how a common baby can change so much….
