“Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful…”

NOT

The weather here in South Africa is rather cold and feels like wintertime
at home so we decided that we would have some sort of celebration! This month
we decided to celebrate World Race African Christmas in July! And it was so
much fun! On July 25 a paper Christmas tree and paper fire place appeared on
one of our walls. The next day we had ham, mashed potato’s, sweet potato
casserole, carrots, zucchini and cookies! We then proceeded to the living room
where we exchanged Christmas presents with our secret Santa person. We finished
the night with Elf. It was such a fun event. Here is a short video of our
night!
