I HATE You
Yes, you who took her
Yes, you sick glutton
Yes, you who can only think of yourself at the cost of little ones
She has no trust
She is full of fear
Touch makes her cringe
Anger controls her body
Her soul cries
You did this!
I don’t understand
She was only 10
Not just her….dozens
I want to curse you but
That won’t help.
There are so many of you out there,
Making me nauseous.
Despite your horrific inconceivable doings
Despite your incredible wickedness
Despite your hardened heart
Despite your cunning acts
He is more powerful.
He heals
He saves
He loves
He brought her out.
Months go by
Fits of rage still linger
Hundreds of tears caught in His jar
Her eyes are black,
Pain exudes from them
She holds fast to her mask
She is ashamed.
But He planted a little seed,
Watered everyday
The warmth of the SON
beats down on it
He waited
No growth
Still brokenness
Loved compelled not to give up,
More months passed
A little sprout emerged,
It was fragile and swayed easily,
But He looked after it
Day and night
He gave it His all
Despite the abuse
He received for doing so
She was healed,
She is restored,
She is new
No sympathy she wants
Tears of hurt no longer reside
Tears of hope and utmost thanks trickle down
Worship is all that comes from her mouth
Boldness, dignity and love lift her head high.
Now she goes out, but this time shining a light
The darkness shrieks,
Shadows dash and hide.
Hope illuminates the little faces.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20
