What is your favorite season and why? Fall, because it’s BEAUTIFUL! And because I love a little brisk chill in the air! AND, 'cause my birthday is in Oct…best season ever!
Where is the coolest place you’ve ever been? Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain…me encanta Espana (I love Spain!)
What is your favorite iPhone (or subpar alternative) app? I don’t use too many apps…but l'd say Instagram!
What was your favorite food when you were a child? Wendy's
What’s your favorite food now? Empanadas or pizza
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I think being cut off when I’m talking…but I do it too lol (although I try to be aware of it!)
Do you have any strange habits/quirks? Sometimes, I break out in song about the most ridiculous things "I need some mayonaise on my ham sandwich…" (Imagine this as a song with a gospel flare on it and you've just walked into my life!)
If 10 of your friends were asked to describe you in one word, what would be the most common response? I’m not sure…I’m in grad school so I pretty much suck as a friend right now (I have no time for anything else)!! But generally speaking, maybe they’d say loyal…I'm not sure…I'll have to ask them now!
What is one of your favorite quotes? “You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth.”
What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Sleeping/ and listening to music by the water
What is your favorite fast food restaurant? Chick fil-a, although we don’t have them in NYC…I seek them out though!
What is your favorite form of exercise? I don’t do it much but swimming, or bicycling
What is your favorite sound? The waves hitting the shore
What is your favorite smell? Lavender
If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? Spy on folks
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Cleopatra Queen of the Jungle People
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why? My father, he died when I was 2 and I hear he was a wonderful man.
If you had a movie made of your life, what celebrity would you want to play you? Jill Scott, she’s cute like me haha!
What do you want to be when you grow up? I use to work in media but I want to work full-time in ministry
What do you like to do in your free time? Free time doesn’t exist in grad school…sigh, but I like to go out to dinner with friends, or go to movies.
If you had to eat the same thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Steak and potatoes (and a lobster tail)
What is your favorite beverage? Café con leche
What is your favorite childhood memory? One Christmas morning coming out to the living room and no gifts being there, and an hour of so later coming out again and it being tons of gifts…I think the first time must have been the night before but I remember it like there wasn’t much time in between.
What’s the thing you’re most excited about regarding the WR? I’m really excited to see how God is working all over the world and joining Him in what He is already doing! I'm also excited about community!
What’s the thing you’re most scared of regarding the WR? I’m a city girl, and a girly girl…SO I’m not sure how I’m going to deal with the ‘roughing it’ aspect of the trip, but I’m excited for God to stretch me past my limiatations (in that nervous/trusting God for strength kind of way). I'm also scurrrred about the community part!
What is your favorite movie/show/book? I currently watch “New Girl” & “Mindy Project” and I love reruns of “The Golden Girls”
If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be? Some sort of beautiful bird, so I could fly in the sky, but also be gorgeous while I do it 😉
What is your favorite sport to play/watch? Sport? What the heck is that?
