So, a couple of my squad members have recently posted about their dreams they are hoping to witness and experience while they are on the race next year. Originally, racers are asked to write about our expectations for the race….what better way to express anticipation than with a list of hopes and dreams. After all, I am a dreamer. Enjoy.
- Every day, give someone a hug who needs one
- Notice and witness the miracles of my Savior every day
- Be a mother to a child who never had one
- Baptize a new believer in each country
- Be an encouragement to my teammates and those around me daily
- Discover unknown spiritual gifts…in myself and my team
- Speak for the very first time Jesus' name in places it's never before been heard
- Witness women stuck in trafficking discovering God's love for them for the first time
- Speak truth to a prostitute, and watch her walk away from her old life
- Discover a new passion and move towards the calling
- Have my heart broken for what breaks Jesus'
- Surrender more to God each and every day
- Heal the sick, comfort the broken
- Learn a new way to worship and praise in every country
- Do my best to be where God wants me to be and do what God wants me to do each day
- Love on the orphans
- Be a living example of Jesus' love daily
- Show women of each nation how dearly they are valued
- Make lifetime friends (check one!)
- Learn a little bit of each language; particularly the words of John 3:16!
- Live. Like Jesus lived.
- Bring God glory in all that I do!
