For those of you who are using facebook to raise support and stay in touch with your donors, here’s an excellent tool to setup a link to your blog on your facebook profile:

1) Sign into facebook.com (duh).
2) Click on PROFILE
3) Click on NOTES. This should be somewhere on the left-hand side of your profile. Of course, you can re-arrange applications on facebook any way that you want (FYI), but traditionally your NOTES are located underneath FRIENDS.
4) Once you’re in MY NOTES, go to NOTES SETTINGS on the right-hand side of the screen. Click IMPORT A BLOG.
5) Type in your blog address: http://yourname.theworldrace.org/rss. You can register multiple blogs from different sites, but you can only import from one blog at a time. Make sure you click that little box that says that you agree to giving facebook the rights to republish your blog content.
6) It will bring you to a page that will show you a preview your imported blog. Click CONFIRM IMPORT. It will import all of your old blogs, so just be warned. I went and did this again to make sure that I had all the steps in order, and it re-imported when I turned it back on – reposting a bunch of old blogs. I did it all for you.
7) Voila! Now, every time you post a blog to your AIM site, facebook will automatically recover it and post as a note. Usually, it doesn’t post the whole thing, and it doesn’t import pictures, but the intent is to hook people and draw them back to your blog.
