Hey guys… it’s an exciting time around the office! We are getting ready to purchase your plane tickets to your first location THIS WEEK!!! Ready… here’s the news!
Your first location is 100% for sure going to be Peru! We will meet at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale, gather as a group and give you your plane tickets, and then you will fly off to Lima. By next week we hope to give you details on purchasing your plane ticket to Ft. Lauderdale. We are still working to figure out the day and time you will meet us in Ft. Lauderdale and will have that information after we purchase your ticket to Lima. So you can begin practicing your Spanish and praying over Peru now and in the next week or two we will give you instructions to buy your first plane ticket.
However… here’s the more serious side. I’m glad you guys are fasting for support right now because in order to buy your first plane ticket you must have a minimum of $1000 in cash in your account. For those of you who are not yet at $1000 we MUST hear from you before Tuesday at 5 p.m. about your support. We either need to hear that you have the rest of the money in your hands right now and are sticking it in the mail as we speak, or we need to hear where the money will come from and when. I will be sending an email to those of you who are below $1000 to begin talking about this.
It is perfectly acceptable for you to call your supporters who have been on the fringes (“Oh yeah… let me talk to my husband and we’ll see if we can support you or not”) and let them know that we need to buy your ticket so we need a firm commitment. I know this can feel awkward, but donors understand this is part of donating to missions.
Everybody take a deep breath and sit in Jesus’ arms right now… remember He is your provider and all good things come from Him. Then call me and let me know the plans… I’m here for you guys!!
