AIM recommends that you use New York Insurance for your trip insurance.
We require a Minimum Coverage of $1,000,000 and a deductible of $100. Even if you do not use New York Insurance, this is a non-negotiable. If you choose to use some other insurance, be sure it covers you for any medical facility outside of the United States and covers Emergency Medical Evacuation should you need to be flown back home.
We strongly suggest that you include Extreme Sports coverage. This is not required, but many World Racers are adventure junkies who enjoy taking advantage of all of the Extreme Sports they will encounter during their journey.
