camera – there are a mixture of batteries and rechargeable. so far we have always had a place to plug things in, even if we are all sharing just a couple of outlets. i would do the rechargeable one, so you don’t always have to worry about buying batteries. a lot of people have the cannon camera SD600 or something i think. i like that one. i used to have it, but now i have a not as nice one.
videos are usually made with digital cameras, except for media team. make sure your digital camera picks up sound when it is recording.
i brought a diva cup, but i have never used it. for me personally i think it is kinda big. if you are thinking of using it, i would buy it now and try it out. i bought it like a week before i left, so i didn’t have time to get used to it or try it. i would love to use it if it worked well though.
definitely get down sleeping bag – it is warmer and it packs tighter. the only reason to get synthetic is b/c it is cheaper or because it dries faster, but out bags don’t really ever get wet where they need time to dry. so down is definitely better for packing.
