Hey all after Christie posted her request I knew that I too needed the prayers of mighty warriors. 🙂 There are five kids in my fam…2 girls than3 boys within 61/2 yrs. So we are pretty tight. The oldest of the boys, Mark who is almost 3 yrs younger than me is going through a divorce. It didn’t start out the greatest…they lived together and she got pregnant and he had to leave for the war for 8 mo..so they got married. This was about almost 4yrs ago. Now we have a beautiful, amazing niece who will be 4 in Nov. Its been totally true how it says that it takes a community to raise a child..she has been dearly loved by all of her aunties/uncles/nana..even my roomate who is an honorary auntie. Since birth we have prayed protection over this little girl and she def. knows who Jesus is. 🙂
Her mother can be unstable and many of their marriage problems have been due to Gen’s mother. There is so much baggage and evil legacy traits that Gen conts to cling onto. Almost a year ago they seperated and Mark has wanted to get back with her–even though there has been emotional and physical unfaithfulness. About 3months ago she told my brother that she is engaged!! but has the prob. of still being married to my brother. our first concern is for Adriana(my niece) so we have been praying like mad for when she is with her mom. It is not a positive , well bred atmosphere. Yesterday my brother got served the papers and it said that Gen has had full custody of Adriana since the seperation. This is totally a lie and he called her on it and she won’t change it. She has never once had her on the weekends and only gets her Mon-Weds night and they alter Thurs. On MOn and Thurs Gen and Mark work until 9 and my sis and I pick her up and get her for over three hours on those days. So Gen only sees her after work for a couple of hours on all of those days. Never full days like my brother.
I’m sorry this is so long. I just feel like we are battling evil lies everywhere. Gen is choosing not to rely on God for this situation and i know that they will be pulling out all the punches. My bro is an excellant father and loves Adri so much and His relationship and dependance on God has just flourished over the past years. I feel that God is asking us to walk purley in this situation so the enemy won’t have a foot hold. Can you please pray for the right lawyer for my brother, protection and clearing of the enemy in this situation, a pure heart and wisdom for my brother, a conviction on Gen from the Lord(she excepted Him a couple yrs a go…but is not walking in the truth or reliance at all)so that she will seek His voice, the foothold to be broken that Gen’s mom has on her, and than a bubbled protection over Adriana’s mind and heart through this whole thing. Thank you for reading this novel! and that I can call upon you all to help fight this so that it is all honoring to God.
