A group of debriefers have recently been in South Africa with the January and June team. As we have gone through debriefs we continue to learn more and more about the process of World Race. Of course, as we learn more we work on molding and shaping what the Race looks like. While we are in the process of molding and shaping we want to pass along information that we are learning. Some of this may not make much sense now, but is simply an idea for you to file away in your brain so that while you are on the Race you realize what you may be experiencing. This is one of those things –
The theme of the first half of the race is “Waking up to your identity in the Kingdom” and the role of the second half of the year is “Waking up to your role in the Kingdom.” As such you will have more decisions made as a team during the second half and less instruction or set up given by AIM. Practically this could mean that you have more things pre-set for you at the beginning of the year and more set up work for you to do on your own in the second half. As always, World Race is a living organism that grows and changes. Every Race looks different and there’s no telling what God wants to do with your specific Race.
