Ok first of I messed up the book title last night and said it was Operation Mobilization, that’s actually the organization that started putting the book out, I think.
For those of you who don’t know. Operation World is a book that pretty much list all the countrys in the world and give stats much like an almanac, but with a spiritual focus. It gives you the major religions of a country and talks about the history a little. Anyway, I am planning on buying a copy for each of my prayer supporters and giving it to them. I hope to put out a little prayer calander every couple of months and then I can point to the book so they have an idea of how to pray.
If anyone else in interested, I did some looking around today. The Operation World website seems to be the best resource. the book is 15.29 if you order one. I called about a bulk discount and they told me that if you order more than 3 you get a 55% discount which makes it $9. Of course you will have to pay shipping. I would call and order if you want to do this so then you can ask about the discount when you order, I don’t know if i will automatically come up if you order online. Also I’m planning on ordering a copy of the cd-rom copy to take on the trip with me to save a little on weight and to have as a resource when we are out there.
