Some of you were asking what my sleeping pad was:
It’s a Big Agnes Insulated Air Core. http://www.rei.com/product/713596.
it’s insulated which we probably wouldn’t need on the trip, but it came in handy at training. The less insulated one is the Big Agnes REM air core. Good stuff too. They pack down to the size of a nalgene. You have to manually inflate, but since we’ll only be doing that once a month it’s probably not that big of a deal.
Also last summer I used these awesome misquito repellent patches. They’re citronella, not deet and they work for about 12 hours. Check em out. http://www.patchcare.net
Finally, I talked with you about some of this, but I’m planning on bringing my solor shower. It’s 5 gallons, and takes up very little space or weight when it’s empty. If we’re in any kind of sun or hot weather it will work great. check it out. http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-5-Gallon-PVC-Camp-Shower/dp/B0009PUT20
Ok that’s it for now!
