Though you should all have plenty of stuff and be far from homesick… we do have a way for your family and friends to send letters and packages to you in South Africa. Please be sure when passing on this information that you are VERY clear about the instructions as otherwise it will cost you a ton in Customs. Also remember that international mail very easily gets lost. If you ever NEED something (debit card replacements, medicine, electronics) those need to come with debriefers every three months. We will only take vital necessities at these times.
Once you have left the country, we will email you the addresses to send care packages to when we have them. We will also post that information on prayers.theworldrace.org, so please have your family and friends check that website regularly.
Packages can be mailed to the Racers while they are in Africa. DO NOT send any valuables through the mail and clearly state a $0 value for the package. Note that it is a gift with no commercial value. This helps avoid taxes through customs. Packages must arrive no later than July 30 – allow extra time than what the postal service tells you.
