Hi June team…
Just wanted to share with all of you what is going on with me, and tell you the news: that I will not be joining you in June and instead will be doing the World Race in September.
Before training camp, I had been asking God to show me when He wanted me to go on the WR. My sister is having a baby in August, the summer would give me more time to raise support, etc, etc. But at training camp, I felt strongly led toward June, and in hindsight, I think it is because of all of you and the connection I felt with you. I feel challenged and encouraged by each of you (not that September group isn’t awesome as well, but you gotta admit, the June team is amazing!).
It has been a long struggle to get to where I am now, realizing that I need to work through of a lot of personal issues and let God strip away the things that I have held onto, that have been hindering me from fully experiencing Him and being used by Him. It breaks my heart to not go in June and not spend the next year with all of you, but I know that God will be most glorified in this!
I love you all dearly, I’m praying for you, and I’m expecting lots of emails/blogs/whatnot over the next year!
