JESUS! Thank you for loving me! For loving me greater than anyone else can. You pursue me when I push away. You love me and I know this to be true.

I was praying the other morning. Just over the squad, that the Lord would continue to help them open their ears wide to hear His voice, to know the sound of their Papa talking to them. I was praying that that days ATL (ask the Lord) or Treasure Hunt would be an event of the Lord showing up and showing off. I prayed, and afterwards, I just asked the Lord “What do you have for ysquad today”? He answered with, “This one is for you my darling.” Pause. What? Lord what the heck do you mean this one is for me? I asked and asked. He just would say, “This one is for you my darling.”

I went to morning devotion with the squad, excited and ready for ATL, but also with hesitancy. We all listened to the devotion and then went to the Lord and asked Him, what do you have for us today? What are you wanting for me to be looking out for? Is there a person, name, color, number, hurt or illness; Lord what are you highlighting to me today?

I got a whole assortment of things as did the rest of the group.

My list was as follows:

Blue eyes

Female

Jean dress

Black jacket

Spine

Umbrella

Fountain

17

I also felt the Lord wanting me to be in a group with Monica, a woman on the squad.

So I joined the group Monica was in. Some things, to no surprise, lined up with others lists, and with that we were off. Off to the market, a shop, and then to the park, two things from the combined list.

Upon arriving at the park we walked towards the center where the fountain was. There was a man sitting on a bench. We all noticed him and felt he was looking with expectancy. Maybe waiting for someone or something to happen. We sat down next to him. Asked him his name, it’s Carlos. Asked him if he was waiting for someone, he wasn’t. Asked him why he was here, he was traveling through. We started asking questions about his family and job. He has a few children, one died a couple years ago in a car accident. He and his wife are currently separated. Conversation was coming to an end, and he fit a few things on our list. He was sitting by a fountain, wearing a black jacket, and had marriage struggles (on another person’s list).

We asked Carlos if we could pray for him. Explaining that we wanted to pray specifically, and so we asked if he had any pain, illness, hardships, etc. we wanted to pray over it. Carlos said he had pain in his legs and that they didn’t work well. I mentioned to my group that spine was on my list and that we should pray over his spine as well as his legs. We prayed healing and after we asked how they felt. He said better, so we asked Carlos if he’d be willing to walk around the fountain and see how they felt. Carlos, Chase and I walked for about two seconds before Carlos started to take off in a light jog! We were in awe and praising the Lord. We all sat back down with HUGE smiles on our faces!! Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord for healing sweet Carlos and continuing to do so!

Gosh it could stop there and be so great, the Lord showed up! However, the story of Carlos doesn’t stop there. The Lord asked me to ask him if he still loved his wife. Yikes! Personal question, right…no way I thought. I told the group what the Lord was asking and they just went for it and asked. Carlos does still love his wife, very much so! I asked the Lord why He had me ask and He said He wants to restore their marriage. SHUT UP?! Jesus you are so dang good! Gosh can you believe that! We told Carlos and he said he believed that was true and confirming of what he was thinking. He had been thinking it was time to get the family back together and was excited for this!

Jesus! You are incredible! Thank you for caring so much for your people. For loving us and not being absent from our lives! Lord you are incredible and I am so grateful you are mine!

Dang this story couldn’t get any better right? Wrong, with so much Jesus happening of course it’s about to get better!

A girl from the squad walked over to me and asked if she could talk to me. I walked over with her to another bench, sat down, and then she said I was their treasure.

TIME OUT!!! Did you just hear what I heard. This is crazy right?! I am their treasure from their treasure hunt, no way! Lord, I never could have guessed that when you said, “This one is for you my darling.” that it would mean this!

My outfit and eye color matched their list to a tee. They prayed over me and prophesied over me. It was beautiful and I just sat there crying with the biggest smile on my face. In awe of how their prayers were just what I needed and comfort to my worries. Overjoyed by how much the Father loves me!

This day was just too much, in the best possible way! I saw the Lord show up and show off. Making His presence undeniably obvious. I felt so loved and so seen!

Here is an update on my Adopt-A-Box fundraiser as well 🙂

I’m feeling so blessed by the Lord’s provision to have my Adventure In Missions cost fully covered! Thank you so much to those who have already supported me!

For those who didn’t have the chance to give but would still like to I have a few more costs that I need covered (mainly flights). To cover those costs I thought I would do an Adopt•A•Box fundraiser.

Here is how it works: “adopt” a box by commenting which box in the comments below and then donate that box amount.
EX: adopting box 5 = donating $5.

Donations can be given through venmo (@teaganmacknight) or a check (made out to Teagan MacKnight).

Please feel free to message me on Facebook or email ([email protected]) me for more details on what the money is going towards or where to send a check.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me financially, spiritually and prayerfully over the last year and a half! I am so appreciative and blessed to share my journey with you!
