Family and Friends YOU’RE INVITED,

Ten years ago I thought I would be sending out wedding invitations by the age of 25, but this goes to show how much control I have over the plans for my life. Here I am 25 years old in a blossoming relationship with God, and He has called me to discipleship in many countries. Praise the Lord!! My heart couldn’t feel more rejoiced to commit to His calling.

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

Most of you know I have experienced a lot of growth from moving a few times, living alone and with roommates, experiencing different jobs, exploring my education, and accepting God as my Lord and Savior. I have been in search of something that would be fulfilling to what I saw as my purpose here on earth. One thing that has stayed true through all the trial and errors in my life is that I want to touch the lives of others. I was seeking this passion through nutrition and was on the verge of pursuing massage school. This is when God came knocking! I saw laying hands on people with therapeutic massage as healing, but God has called me through ministry to lay hands on orphans, sex trafficked women, building, and teaching. His mission for me is within The World Race through Adventure in Missions.

I will be ministering to 11 countries in 11 months alongside my fellow squad mates. The countries we will be pouring the love and word of God in are South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The needs will vary with each country along with the living arrangements. There is much work to be done in these areas of the world, and I am ready to go out and be the hands and feet of Jesus. I have prayed for Him to guide my steps. I have complete faith that He will be the stronghold as we enter into ways of living and parts of the world I can’t even imagine. Places that are starving for the good news of Jesus Christ, love, relationship, and knowledge.

Here is the stickler I really need the help of my community with prayers, and donations to fundraise for my mission. I need to raise $16,000 in order to go. This will include air-land-sea travel, lodging, food, insurance, setup costs, coaching, debriefing costs, training camp, and administrative costs. This seems like an extreme amount of money, and I am totally new to fundraising. I believe God will help me over this mountain. Please, if you feel God tugging at your heart to support His calling for me visit my World Race page at http://tayshawalker.theworldrace.org and from here you can click “support me”. This is the easiest way to donate. If you prefer check donations you may send them to Adventure in Missions with my name in the memo line.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.

This is an invitation for you all to follow alongside me not only as I grow and learn, but also as Gods light shines through me to others on this mission. I will be sharing pictures and blog posts as often as possible. This is where you can keep up with me! Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I ask for continuous prayers for others with Adventures in Missions and I on The World Race.

Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
