It's official I'm launching on the World Race September 10th! First stop GUATEMALA! My Spanish is rusty but it's definitely improving! I'm beyond excited!! But I want to take a moment and say THANK YOU, GRACIAS, DANKIE, OBRIGADO in all sorts of languages. Thanks to my church family in DE (Love of Christ Church), my church family in MD (Christ Apostolic Church), my awesome friends (new and old) whose generosity I'm still in shock of, my former coworkers, those who came to shop my closet, and even the random people I encountered who have donated! Thank you so much for your support through prayers, words of encouragement, and your financial contribution. I found out about this wonderful opportunity doing the world race very late in the game (June 15th – the deadline) and I've been so blown AWAY by how God works; quickly. In a little over a month of me starting my fundraising, not only have I made the deadline of $6500 but have surpassed it and I'm now over half-way of my goal at $8600. WOW is all I can say. Thank you so much for believing in my dream and passion and I pray as you've been a blessing to me God will bless you!
I still have ways to go to $16,260 but I am so motivated, energized, and hungry to work towards it. My goal is to reach my next financial deadline which is $11,000 due by November before I leave September 10th. Sounds crazy right?!? …I prefer the term AMBITIOUS 🙂 I can't wait for God to surpass my expectations!!
