Wow, I cant believe this is really happening! I, Taylor Scott just committed to go on the WorldRace. If someone told me this 3 years ago, I would have told them that they were crazy. There was no way I would be roughing it for 11 months in 11 different countries while sharing the Gospel. God has a funny way of changing thing and now I could not be more excited to go!
I am 23 years old and was raised in Texas for most of my life. Everyone says everything is bigger and better in Texas but, I would not agree. So, right after high school I move to North Carolina for Collage. It was all planned out, I was going to work in fashion and live the “American dream”. I was okay with how life was panning out and was ready for my new adventure. I was on fire for the Lord at the time and was ready to share my faith with others that might not know Him. Little did I know God had another plan for my life that was radically different from my own. He would use the hardest, darkest part of my life to reveal to me that I was made for so much more than the “American dream”, I was made for the Kingdom.
So fast forward 3 years and here I am. No longer living in North Carolina and no longer a fashion major. The things that once defined me no longer do. I am now more in love with my heavenly father than ever before. I no longer want to live the American dream, that is the farthest thing from what I want. God has given me a love for the nations and a love for His Kingdom. So, with that I have decided to fully surrender all to Him. With this He has blessed me with this amazing opportunity to go on the WorldRace. I know it’s going to be the hardest, most challenging experience of my life but, it will bring me so much closer to my heavenly Father, others will find Him, and what could be better than that?
