Hey Everybody!!

So first of all, I just cannot express how grateful I am to all my supporters so far. With prayer, and finances, I am just totally overwhelmed by God's children and the love and generosity you've all poured out on me. Seriously, thank you. I am currently at $2,715.00 and that is AMAZING!!!!! My first deadline isn't until October and this is just so incredible in so many ways, including the fact that I am now at my summer job as a camp counselor at a Christian camp called New Life Ranch, where I do not have internet or cell phone service. I have time off at the moment, and am in town to check my fundraising status and write thank you notes to my wonderful donors!

I absolutely love my job here and staff training is going so so well, but it is an added stress fundraising without basic communication tools. So the fact that I'm already nearing my first deadline goal is such a load off of my mind and I know that God is enabling me to be totally present with my campers and the staff here and really be able to just pour into the people around me. So again, sincerely, this is more of a gift right now than you may realize!!

Speaking of camp, that is where the title of this post comes from. When New Life was founded, our founders prayed that the land would be a valley set apart for the glory of God, and I believe it is just that. I am so blessed to be here and honored to have another summer of serving in this place before jetting off for the World Race in January. Two spectacular blessings that I could not be more humbled to be called to. So if you want to see what I'm up to or know more about camp, you should "friend" them on facebook, as they post tons of pictures, and actually just posted pictures of (almost) all of the summer staff! And I know they would appreciate your prayers as well!

Anyway, I am loving this process of fundraising and talking with all of you about what God is doing in my life and the lives of those around me, and thank you so much for taking the time to read this (slightly rambling) blog post, as it means an awful lot to me!

(Also been in the Psalms lately, I recommend going through the 30's if you're needing direction. LOVE THE BIBLE)
