Hi there!

Firstly, I would just like to say: Welcome to my blog and thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little more!

My name is Taylor Baker and I am senior at the University of Southern Mississippi. I’m majoring in International Business with a minor in Non-Profit Studies. My language emphasis is in Spanish.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I moved to Petal, MS and out of my parents home when I was 16 years old. This was due to various reasons, but God surely did know what He was doing, as He always does. It was when I moved to Petal that I was invited to church and my relationship with Christ began. God turned my life around completely and changed my every want and desire to look more like His. And while I still fail Him daily, His grace for me never does.

God has given me a heart for the nations and to make His name known in the most remote places of the Earth. That, my friend, is why I am here writing this about me for the World Race. I am so excited about what God is doing through Adventures in Missions and can’t wait to see how He uses me throughout my journey around the World.

Here are some random facts about me:

  • I like cats, a lot more than I should
  • I love to read
  • I’ve been on mission trips to Haiti twice and Belize twice
  •  I enjoy leading Bible Studies for high school and middle school girls.
  • Libraries are my favorite hideaways.
  • I am an extrovert, by every definition.
  • I love meeting new people
  • I like to cook/bake when I have free time.
  • I love anything that has a map on it.
  • Lastly, in the spirit of transparency: I’ve erased like 30 things off this list, so you wouldn’t think I’m lame.

If you have any questions or want to know more about me or the World Race, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Trying to bring Him Glory,

Taylor
