This picture sums up my personality.
> I am rarely serious,
I'm a people person.
(I get it from my mama!)
"You know everyone!" is what I hear when I'm out and about with friends. I always end up running into someone I know even if I'm in another state.
I love the Six Degrees of Separation theory. I like to think I am related to Justin Bieber.
(some of you will probably stop reading at this point ha ha.. I like me some JBiebs!)
I'm very organized.
I was on the yearbook staff in high school for 3 years. I will probably spend 30 minutes on each blog making sure the text and layout are perfect before pressing submit.
I love telling stories.
…even if I do talk in circles…
So, this is where I'll tell you mine.

Growing up, my brother and sister were heavily involved in traveling soccer. Of course I'm the middle child and chose to be a gymnast, ballerina, cheerleader and tried out volleyball for fun.
We grew up at a young age attending a Methodist church, but soccer began to consume the Patton family. It was hard to stay plugged into a church when we would be gone the entire weekend. Thankfully my parents instilled Christian values in us at a young age.
Throughout middle school and high school I was involved in church events like DNOW (Disciple Now) and Wednesday night gatherings on occasion, but Young Life really sparked my interest.

Here I am, on a mechanical bull at Frontier Ranch in Buena Vista, Colorado.
This week was a changing point in my life.
truly dedicated my life to Jesus Christ.
I was first saved in middle school, but I didn't even fully comphrehend what that meant.
Then came college.
My Lord has worked in me throughout the past three years. I went to three different universities in Georgia, starting at Valdosta State and ending up at UGA.
I grew up a huge Florida Gator fan.

Yes, this is really Tim Tebow and I … 😉
So why did I end up at UF's rival school?
Only God knew.
I was tested in so many ways.
God began to resurrect my
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be the glory…"
Ephesians 3:20
I can't wait to be Jesus' hands and feet in 11 countries.
I hope you will join me on this journey.
