This month has been crazy, but truly amazing.  With lots of up and down emotions, God
have proved once again to be faithful.
The first night out to the bars we were drawn to one specific bar for
the entire night (we are usually only suppose to stay about 20 minutes, in
order to not over stay our welcome.)
We just could not leave!  We
believe it was for many reasons, but one HUGE one is a precious woman that now
lives at SHE (in the red shirt).

A beautiful woman (we will call her Peaceful, because that
is just what she is) who loves to smile, give hugs and just be loved was what
God was working on and He allowed us to be a part of it.  After Hollis and Di grew a friendship
with her, God spurred her heart to leave the bars and come to SHE.  One night during a quick stop by to say
Hello, she told Hollis “I want to work at SHE.”  None of us could grasp it, God is so mighty, He worked in a
matter of days.  To be honest, I
never thought we would see fruit during our time here, but I love when God
shows me differently!  J  The next day we picked her up and moved
her in.  Peaceful has a 10-year-old
daughter that she is working on getting here as well, so they can be together.

Peaceful now works at SHE and we get to see her smiles every
morning, noon and night…I tell you, she is just the most joyous person!  Starting soon, she will be heading up
the cooking department at SHE, making cookies, cakes and chocolates…something
she is passionate about.  Peaceful
was so EXTATIC when Sharon presented the idea to her…she has a sense of worth and
meaning in her life just like that….thanks be to GOD.

But there is more than just Peaceful; there are several
other girls who God is sparking desires with, who I know He will soon take out
of the bars.  With the help of our
supporters, we have been able to take these girls bowling, dinner, play more
games of Jenga, connect four and Jackpot than I would like to admit to (good thing the games
are free..The games are at the bars to act as icebreakers between the men and
the woman, thankfully we got to use them as icebreakers too!!!)  These woman are finding out that there
is more to life, that the “end all be all” is not the bars and selling their
bodies.  These girls are finding a true
sense of meaning and belonging and I can only do one thing…THANK JESUS FOR IT
ALL!  There is nothing like hearing
a woman say, “I hate doing what I am doing” (knowing she is referring to
selling her body) and being able to give her an out and see it happen!!!!!

Thank you to all my supporters for making this possible, you
all played a HUGE part in taking women out of prostitution and allowing light
to shine into their lives….THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH FROM THE GIRLS, MY TEAM AND
I!
