April 13th marks Thailand’s New Year, but don’t be fooled. Songkran (what they call it) is not like ours, it’s a day filled will water and lots of it! Wherever you go, be prepared to get soaked with not only water, but powder, flour/water mixtures…anything!!!!! Actually, depending on where you are in the country, this madness could last up to a week. Thankfully in Phuket it only lasts a weekend.
You will not see me in the video much, as I had my computer on me one of the nights, but no fear….I still joined in plenty. lol Enjoy the video and get a feel for just a bit of what our Thailand new year was all about!!!!!!
