After 82 hours of travel we are in Cambodia! I have to be honest, Asia had never
been on the top of my travel list, but I LOVE it so far. I just felt a peace once I landed on Asian ground. The people hear are
beautiful inside and out. Though
there is a major language barrier, that does not hinder the essence of their
love and kindness gravitating towards us!
So what are we doing?
Good question you ask! Upon
our arrival our ministry opportunity took a plunge, only to present 5 other
ministry opportunities throughout the week to come. Low and behold, all 5 of those took a plunge too. I asked myself, how could that be,
there is no way 5 ministries could go sour. Then I was forced to remember that God is in control, there
is a reason for that and so we asked God.
After a couple days of waiting on other ministries we spent
a day in prayer as a team and separately.
God spoke to two people on our team in particular, Rocio and Nick. He showed one a vision of bottled water
and the other three numbers, 297.
We had no idea what to do, but stepped out in faith. We looked at the map, there was no 297,
but there was a 296 and a 298. So
we set out and believed God was in this and would direct our steps. What do you know, we come to a building
with 297 spay painted on it with bottles of water underneath it! Praise God, He is faithful.
So part of our ministry was birthed. Inside a business is being ran, a lady cleaning rice and a seamstress
work diligently. Although we have
only been there one day, relationships have begun to build and the love of
Christ starts to seep from our veins.
We sit with the women and clean rice, talk in broken English sentences
and smile. The guys simultaneously
open up to a young man who desires to know them more. A doctor wants to know our reason for being there, our
Job…we simply say to him, to share Jesus Christ.
All of these people have no idea who that even is, they has never heard
of Him. So our ministry
begins….God has prepared this and we are committed to being obedient to His purpose. We begin to realize that a ministry is
not always set up by an organization, it does not always have a name to it, the
true definition of a ministry is sharing the good news Gods way…period , end of
story.

bless their business and that God would be glorified in it all. I love you all so much!
