AS THIS CHAPTER comes to an end shortly, it will only be a few short days before the next one begins. In the midst of running around, preparing for the journey of a lifetime and getting ready for the Christmas holiday, I can’t help but take just a moment to reflect back a little. About three years ago I moved home from Long Beach and started my career in Marketing with Eufora International. If you asked me then, I would have told you Eufora would be my home for a long time, but now three years later, my road ahead looks a little different than expected. Although my time at Eufora has been full of hard work, great experiences, good times and the start of life-long friendships, it has come time to part for a season. I truly love the hair industry and marketing, but I have a greater love than even that….Jesus Christ! Some may not understand why I have jumped so far the other way, but if you have experienced God in ways like I have and am about to experience, you will understand. My God is so REAL and I can’t wait to serve Him.
I love my family at Eufora and will always cherish them, but for now God has called me in another direction. He has birthed a desire in my heart to tell the nations of His goodness, bring hope to the widows, comfort the orphans and befriend the least around the world. Although it may come as a shock to most of you that I’m doing this, don’t be fooled. It is not me that will get through this, it will be Jesus Christ who will do it all. There is no other way I will be able to face the darkness and heaviness of the nations that await me. But the most beautiful thing about the experience ahead is that Gods glory and love will shine through ALL the darkness.
So before I take off into the unknown, I want to say THANK YOU TO ALL! Thank you to my co-workers for being such great people, thank you to my family who loves me no matter what, thank you to my friends who don’t always understand my ways but are and will forever be the most amazing friends and thank you to all my sisters and brothers in Christ who are constantly lifting me up in prayer, challenging me and speaking life over me! TO ALL OF YOU, this trip would and will not be possible without you. Your prayers and financial support mean everything. I thank you all that I have raised half of the funds needed for this trip…..I feel so blessed. If you are able to give more throughout this trip, please know that it is needed. I am still in great need of more finances, so please prayerfully seek in giving! I love you ALL so much and can’t wait to share this journey you have helped make so real!!!
