The fluffy explanation: Stirring up love and sparking visions of hope in communities around the world through outreach programs.
But for real: Days could include teaching eager children, mentoring youth for a violence-free future, showing what freedom from prostitution can do, empowering young mothers, feeding hungry families, and a variety of other opportunities. Bottom line, waking up every day and saying where can I help, whose hand can I hold? After all, every person is doing their best to make a good life and we all love a confidence boost. Through this, above all share the good news of Jesus Christ to the world.
“Wow… So how much does that cost?”
Honestly, the total of $16,300 for lodging, travel, food, health insurance, funding support staff at home, etc. is a bargain for 11 months and 4 continents of outreach.
Over 50 people have already joined in amounts from $10 to $1,000- each received with the same amount of appreciation and joy! What amount of support do you feel called to contribute?
- $3,500 – Due 9/27/2013 GOAL PASSED: 9/18/13 [Happy Dance!]
- $7,500 – Due 12/15/2013 GOAL PASSED: 10/16/13 [Praise Party!]
- $11,500 – Due April 1, 2014 (End of 3 months on the field)
- $16,300 – Total Due 7/1/2014 (End of 6 months on the field)
