Blog Readers, Meet Janet.

Janet was our second ministry contact in Malaysia. Our whole
team instantly fell in love with her and we were constantly humbled by her
faith. She let our team of 12 stay in her ministry house without charge and she
fed us without charge and transported us, yet again, without charge, simply
because God asked her to. She praises God with every breath in her lungs. When
she’s not talking about what He’s done in her life & in the lives of others
& what He wants to do in your life, she’s singing praises and praying, even
in her sleep! As I said, she praises God with every breath.

One day Leslie was doing laundry and she came inside after
she had hung it up to dry and Janet asked her if she prayed and asked God to
bring the sun to come and dry her clothes. It seems so obvious. Most of the
time I find it easy talk to God about all the big things, but the little things
tend to get lost. I suppose I just assume God might not want to waste His time
in answering the “small” prayers, that He has too much to do. Why should I get
to limit God is His infinite ability to answer prayers, or really to do
anything? If even the hairs on my head & the sands on the shore are
numbered, isn’t God in the details? I think for all of us, Janet helped us understand
that God wants us to trust Him in absolutely everything. Praise God,
Hallelujah!

I asked her if I could take her picture and she replied, “It
is not me, it is the Holy Spirit inside of me!” & she proceeded to dance
and sing (which made it very difficult to take the picture). Her beauty comes
directly from God & it shines out of every pore, and I don’t think she
would be satisfied any other way.

I was just telling someone that I wasn’t exactly sure how to
write this blog about Janet, I just feel like you should know her, so I hope I
gave you a little insight. The race is bringing many an opportunity to meet
some of the most incredible people, Janet is just one of them.
