Shanda and the Red Bead.

Shanda is my dread sister and her joy is immeasurable.  She is a cultured world traveler who is laid back, warm, friendly, eccentric, free-spirited, uninhibited and an exceptionally beautiful woman.  Shanda loves trying new things and experiences and is willing to take risks to uncover something amazing.  Shanda is extraordinary and rare.  She is this electric calm, meaning she has this bizarre combination of electricity and ability to ignite others as well as this calming and relaxing presence.   Although Shanda did not actually make a dread in my hair she added a treasure; a red bead that I placed strategically on one of my strands.    This red color is symbolic of Shanda’s fire and zeal for life.  The fact that it is a small treasure is symbolic of discovery and her enjoyment of the simple things in life.

I am excited to add more treasures as I dance along meeting strangers that are just waiting to become friends.  Enchanting moments lie ahead that are just waiting to be discovered and revealed.  I have work to do to gather more stories and art to be added to this orchestrated tapestry of my traveling encounters.  Oh, the intriguing stories that lie ahead.
