On our days off after training we got the opportunity to go to Agua Azul with our team.  The waterfalls were breathtaking and it was refreshing to swim in the waterholes.  We found this petrified tree underneath a waterfall to jump off of.

One morning Josh and I got up really early and enjoyed a couple of hours by ourselves.  During this time we took a combie (cheap version of a taxi) and went to the Mayan Ruins that are about 6 km from where we were staying in Palenque.  It is so unbelievable to look at the architecture and the landscape!

Trinidad.  This is where we are doing our team ministry in Mexico and is about 2 and a half hours away from Palenque.  We were able to climb this huge rock face and have bible study on top of the rock overlooking the village and praying over the town.  It is a beautiful place and the children are adorable.  We have been planning a church service for every night of the week starting at 4pm and going till about 9pm.  Johnny is doing such an amazing job as our translator and we have been learning Spanish worship songs, preaching, praying for the sick, acting out dramas and sharing testimonies.

Here are some pictures of the precious children we are loving on and ministering to at Pastor Adelina’s church.

And some shots of the boys (Johnny and Josh) jumping off the bridge.

We are surrounded by such amazing beauty and God is revealing himself to us through his gorgeous creation!  Every single day my eyes are awakened to a new level of glory and splendor that I could not even imagine possible.    The glimpses of heaven are all around us in the people, the trees, the mountains, streams, and sky.  Look around you and take a deep breath.   Breathe in all that God has blessed before your eyes.  What a sight he has made!   What pristine beauty!  Isn’t He spectacular?  Worship.
