My sister looked stunning as she stepped onto the beach and followed the shades of pink wildflowers to meet her future husband, Jeremy. The scenery was breathtaking with the sun setting and the waves crashing against the rocks behind them. Janelle couldn’t of asked for a better place and evening; it was perfect!

Joshua performed the ceremony and after the complications with the US Virgin Islands and their unwillingness to make things easy for him to sign the official paperwork he decided to add some humor by announcing that they were married, “not by the power invested in him by the US Virgin Islands, but by God alone.” They do have to get their paperwork done here in the US because of some gliches in the system, but their anniversary will always be remembered as July 25th.

After the ceremony we went to a gorgeous restaurant on the water with a fitting name, Oceanus. The ambience was incredible and the food delicious. After dinner, we headed back to the hotel for the bouquet toss. Then, we all went out and swam in the ocean until after midnight. The moon was so bright and the water was just wonderful.

The rest of the week we stayed and relaxed on the beach and spent some time hiking on St. Johns. Of the two islands, I definitely liked St. Johns better. We hiked to a place called Ram’s Head, which was only about 20 feet wide at the peak, and overlooked the ocean on both sides. The view was spectacular with traces of the mountaineous islands in the background and the waves crashing so loud on to the rocks below. After the hike back we floated in the salt pond and enjoyed a rest from the heat.

Enjoy the pictures below of the wedding and of us hiking on Ram’s Head.
